Toyota has introduced updates for the 2025 GR Yaris, further enhancing the performance and aerodynamics of the sporty hatchback.

The model received a new body kit with six components, the most striking of which is an adjustable rear wing, designed to provide more stability at high speeds and during heavy braking.

The car also received improvements to the cooling system of the 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, with the addition of a new hood featuring a central aluminum duct inspired by the limited GRMN edition, as well as additional ducts on the front and rear sides to optimize airflow.

Other updates include a front spoiler, a new fuel tank guard derived from the brand’s race car, and tweaks to the eight-speed automatic transmission, which now offers quicker gear shifts and more agile responses, especially in Sport mode. Toyota also improved the suspension, the electric steering, and expanded the footrest area in automatic models.

Even small details, such as the use of wider bolts for greater structural rigidity, were considered to further refine drivability.

The vertical handbrake is now available on all versions, and the Toyota Safety Sense package is now standard, including on the entry-level version.

Prices in Japan range from approximately $24,700 to $37,000, but there is still no confirmation whether these updates will be available in other markets.
