The 2025 Jeep Wrangler is once again available with a V-6 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission option, after the brand previously removed this combination.
Initially, Jeep had decided to offer only the six-speed manual version for the V-6 model. However, negative consumer feedback led the brand to reverse this decision and bring back the automatic transmission option.
The standard 2025 Wrangler comes with the V-6 Pentastar engine and a six-speed manual transmission. The two-door model starts at $33,990, while the four-door version begins at $38,590.
The automatic transmission can be selected for an additional $4,500, while the 2.0-liter turbo engine with 270 hp, available only with the automatic, costs an additional $2,500 compared to the manual V-6 version.
Additionally, the 2025 Jeep Wrangler offers other options, such as the 4xe plug-in hybrid and the Rubicon 392 version, equipped with a 470 hp V-8 engine. Both models are exclusively available with an automatic transmission, and according to the brand, the Rubicon 392 will be in its final year of production.
